Frequently asked questions
Not at all! This journey offers far more than just tunnel exploration. Before we even head underground, we will take you through a meticulously recreated Liberation Village. Here, you will discover how the tunnels were dug, why the Củ Chi network had to exist, and why the American forces launched massive operations to “peel the earth’s crust” right here.
The tunnels have been widened compared to wartime to accommodate visitors. However, if you have a heart condition or severe claustrophobia, we do not recommend going underground. The good news is that going inside the tunnels is 100% optional. You can still fully enjoy the historic site as we spend plenty of time exploring the Liberation Village, the interactive tactical displays, and the battle re-enactments above ground.
No! We focus heavily on storytelling—explaining the “why” behind the tunnels, their strategic importance during the war, and their intricate design. This is not a rushed “drop-on, drop-off” commercial tour that leaves you wondering what you just did for the past four hours.
Rest assured, you won’t feel rushed at all! The timeline in our itinerary is just an estimated guide based on the average time travelers spend at each spot. Since this is a 100% Private Tour, you are in full control of the pace. If you want to linger longer at a certain spot or take more photos, just let your guide know!
Absolutely! Even though this area witnessed intense military campaigns, our visual re-enactments completely avoid gory scenes or graphic depictions of casualties. Furthermore, this is a purely historical tour, not a propaganda trip. We do not focus on fostering hatred or resentment toward the U.S. or its allied forces.
No, it doesn’t. Instead, you will see actual structures, such as homes and pagodas, that were damaged during the war. It relies on your imagination to truly feel and comprehend the tragic impact of wartime destruction.
Vietnamese law requires foreigners to hold a local Vietnamese Class A motorcycle license (which takes considerable time to obtain) to legally drive. Therefore, when you book our Motorbike Option, a professional local driver will ride you on the back of the bike. This allows you to sit back safely, relax, and fully absorb the fresh countryside air and scenic backroads of greater Ho Chi Minh City.
Don’t worry! We provide high-quality, full-body rain suits for every guest on our motorbike trips to ensure you stay dry and comfortable no matter the weather. And the road to Cu Chi only a bit sunny at start, when we hit the countryside the wind will breeze
We primarily use modern, late-model SUVs driven by professional, dedicated drivers to ensure maximum comfort and safety.
Yes, there is a chance. Since you are going underground into real earth tunnels, your clothes might get a bit dusty. We highly recommend wearing lightweight, easily washable, and preferably dark-colored clothing, along with comfortable walking shoes or sneakers.
This is a 100% Private Tour tailored completely to your personal schedule. However, if another group happens to book the exact same timeline on your date, we may consult with both parties to see if you’d like to combine into a larger group option, which would lower the cost for everyone.
Child price will be for under 14 years old and it will be discount 10% original price
